Football season is officially over, at least in my mind. Actually it makes no difference to me because I am not a die-hard football fan like some of my friends. I did go to a Super Bowl party yesterday, drank a few beers, downed a couple of shots, watched the game and ate way too much. But when there's a fountain oozing melted chocolate, and marshmallows, strawberries, and cake bites just waiting to be dipped...
Back to the party - Unfortunately, there was plenty of food, some of which were brought by other guests. But before diving in I had to find out who brought what. I do this because there are some people who just refuse the wash their hands after going to the bathroom (disgusting habit), and the last thing I want to do is eat food prepared by their nasty hands. I just shutter to think about it.
Any ways, the game was good, I was rootin' for the Colt's only because I can't stand "Da Bears". People think Texans sound different, but at least we don't sound like idiots.
I showed up 30 minutes later than I had planned, which still should have made me one of the early arrivals. Boy, was I wrong. By the time I got to the party, I found ALL the bettin' games were full, with the exception of a "square pool". I took the last 5 squares for a whopping .50 per square. Woohooo, gonna make some money on this game - NOT!
When it was all said and done, the Colts won and I didn't! Although I really did have a good time.
To be on the safe side, I decided to take Monday off just in case I woke up feeling a bit hungover. I awoke feeling pretty good and considered going into work, but decided NO. Instead, got my blog rolling. Yeah for me.
So, for now this is it - TA-DAA!
There will be more posts to come about me (not so much), my thoughts, my pets, and work (always good stuff going on here).
I make no promises as to being grammatically or politically correct, nor do I promise to make it all sunshine happy and puppy cute. Because that is NOT me!! Tellin' ya here, right now, I can be a bit stubborn, opinionated, and just rant until the cows come home. So be prepared, ya never now what's gonna come out of my head.
Thanks for visiting.
