I know that it's been a while since I've posted, but I'm sure all of you have reached a point where the last thing you want to do is go near a PC. Well, I unfortunately have reached and am working to cross over that hill.. um, mountain actually.
Things have been so hectic at work that I have been mentally shutting down when I get home every day. Poor Hub has been pretty much fending for himself just to eat.
Hopefully this long weekend will help.
Okay, like I said this was going to be a quick update.
1. Still trying really hard not to hate my job - it's been difficult when you're given the evil eye by your boss because they believe your not doing what you should. Note here: maybe if you would stop dumping administrative work on me, I would be able to do what is required of me.
2. We're almost at the end of the medical dramas, everything is looking good so far.
3. Doggy sat the Monster Dog (MD) while mom-in-law Katie (Katy?? oh, hell, I can never remember how she spells her name - she will now be known as KT) was out of town. He wasn't too bad. By the 6th day, he was really looking home sick. Poor guy really isn't all that bad, he's just sooooo damn BIG!
4. The cats are back to normal now that MD is back home with KT.
5. Had to cancel our trip to Daytona Beach. We were going to meet up with my sister and her family. I really was looking forward to it. We haven't had a vacation in years. Maybe I can get Hub to agree to someplace near by for a couple of days. I'll have to work on that.
6. It's not even summer and I am tired of the heat. Is it my imagination or are the summers getting worse each year?
7. I had a chance to enter a photo competition a week or so ago, but decided not to. The competition was to decide which images would be added to a gallery show. It's actually a big opportunity for artists/photographers, but I was caught off guard by my reaction to entering one of my images. I was stressing about it so much that I was actually loosing sleep over it. I would decide to enter, then I'd change my mind - this went on for over two weeks. The deadline finally came and I decided that I wouldn't enter and tried really hard not to think about it. Now that the deadline has come and gone, I feeling pretty good about my decision. I do plan on going to the show and checking out who was selecting to show. There are a few people that I know were going to enter their work.
Well I guess that's enough for right now.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!!
