Walking, Walking, and More Walking

I'm tired!!!

I'm so tired I hurt!!!

Yesterday I took the bus (interesting experience) to the Navy Pier. This place is cool, there is an indoor garden with little water fountains, there's also a small amusement park for kids. I came across a stained glass window gallery show which was really quite impressive.

I primarily walked around and took some photos of seagulls, boats, water, the skyline, and I decided to take an architectural cruise. By the time I left the pier, I was ready to take a hot bath and sleep.
Instead of taking the bus back, I jumped on a water taxi which left me off at the northern end of Michigan ave. Like a fool I started walking, and walking, and walking. I'm guessing the hotel was about 1.5 to 2 miles south, and I walked it AGAIN! I must really be stupid because there are buses and a train that I could have taken. I'm blaming my stupidity on the sun and the lake air. This will not happen again.

When I got to the hotel, I immediately peeled off all articles of clothing and stood under the shower. Once that was completed, I lounged in front of the TV for about an hour or so. I didn't want to fall asleep for fear I would sleep through dinner and have to rely on room service - wayyyy to $$$$$.

Had dinner in the hotel, very good. After dinner coffee and entertainment was provided by Starbucks and their employees, who may I add did a wonderful job. These guys were crazy, they were definitely on massive amounts of caffeine. Singing and dancing behind and in front of the counter.

Wow, I just realized that I've been here for almost 2 hours. Guess I should be heading back to the hotel and find my way to Shedd Aquarium.
I think I'll take a cab this time.
