It's Saturday mid afternoon and I am waiting for Hub to finish dressing so that we can go out and buy more photo equipment -
I may not have a thing to wear, but I'll be damned if I don't have plenty of photo toys.
This past Tuesday (or was it Wednesday?) I ran out at lunch and bought a background support stand - the thrill of spending felt fabulous - but, the camera shop didn't carry the backdrops. I found plenty of locations online to order from, but I want to SEE and TOUCH what I am getting, so today we are running down to the not-so-hot section of town (what I call Hooker Heaven) to take a look at some backdrops. It seems no one on my side of town has anything in stock. Hub prefer I not go alone, but unless he comes with, he knows I'll run solo.
This should prove to be a very interesting adventure.
This has now turned into a mission because I am shooting portraits for an awards dinner on Tuesday and I NEED to have the background. This is my second "gig" for the awards dinner and want to prove to myself that I've developed my talents.
Well looks like Hub is just about ready. I'll try to post again later tonight.
