Goo Goo Gaa Gaaa

Last Thursday I had one of the most pleasurable dental experience ever. I had to undergo "oral surgery" (oohh, that sounds so serious) to remove a, um, baby tooth. Yes, I, at my not-so-teen-age-years still had a baby tooth. It just never came out, what can I say???
It never bothered me until just recently, so off I go to good ole Dr. Paul. After an examination, he sent me to a facial reconstruction surgeon. Apparently, the tooth was in an awkward location and within close proximity to another tooth...blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda.
It had to be pulled is the simple truth. Dr. George gassed me and poof! it was done. Didn't feel a thing, drugs were apparently really good.
The only down side, is that I have not (until tonight) had a meal since Wednesday night. I have been living off of apple sauce, Slim Fast, luke warm soup, and luke warm mashed potatoes. I was going crazy. I wanted food, REAL FOOD.
Dr. George said no solid food for 72 hours - screw that!! I am hungry!
So, for dinner tonight it was spicy crab cakes and green beans - oh, and homemade tarter sauce. Laugh if you will, but this was wonderful. It took me twice as long to eat it than usual, but it was worth it.
Lord knows how my body is going to react to the spice, but I DON'T CARE - IT WAS GOOOOOOD!

I too have a baby tooth. I hope it never has to come out because I dont want to go through it. I guess I'll find out more soon. Think Jess made an appointment for me sometime soon. Hope you feel better soon.

Ah, the missing baby teeth. When I was getting my wisdom teeth pulled they found one under one of them. I was still in High School. I asked my dentist if I could keep it and try for the tooth fairy! :-)
